You often hear University Lecturers complaining that they have to teach the basics. It would appear that things have got particularly out of hand at Bristol University, which was the next port of call on our tour.

And did they have a sign telling people to wash their hands?

I once saw a sign saying:

Chemists: wash hands _before_ using toilet.

Ah yes, went to a Faraday meeting at Bristol once, they served salad, appetizer, main course, and desert for lunch, of course each day you got only one of the above
